![]() This is not meant as a bash against AmigaOS4, i'd rather find some coding proofed guys who are willing to help to find out what's causing it and maybe creating a proper fix. Completely fresh install now, only screenmode is changed to 720p, overscan top, bottom right and left is activated in config. Any ideas Tested 2 times now, with Raspbian from 24.12.14 and 31.1.15. Keep in mind that there were issues reported with the ScummVM v2.1 Android app that made the team withdraw the initial release from the Play Store, in order to work on those issues (and more). (It relays the disk based read buffering from disk to memory which makes it work flawlessly) As written, ScummVM does not start anymore on fresh install - only black screen. Currently, you 'd need to have a development build of the ScummVM android app (v2.1 or higher, a recent daily is recommended) on your device. If someone happens to have those games and want to play them, call me and i'll send a source built which features a workaround for both games. I haven't got any feedback for these games, neither for the fact that they won't run, nor that tony.dat(*) is missing in this release, so i take it no one plays this games. ScummVM 1.6.0 suffers from an (AmigaOS4-specific?) problem regarding either I/O buffering on HDDs or threading.Īs i wrote in the original readme, JXFS partitions will render two games (Hopkins FBI and Tony Tough) unplayable due to some mysterious slowdowns on ADPCM reading - thats the music format those games use.įurther tests show that on an SFS partition at least Hopkins worked fine, but not Tony Tough. If for example the stretch mode is to not scale the display, then the filter option should have no impact. ![]() ![]() The new stretch mode works in combination with the Filter graphics option. The game looks and works wonderfully, until I engage in dialogues when the game zooms in on the person speaking, making long sentences strech outside the screen so one can't see what they say. Anyway you can use settings/video/scaling to stretch to full screen within retroarch. Hello I'm playing with the latest scummvm-1.2.0-monolithic.apk and had no problems installing it on my Froyo HTC Tatto. I don't know what that option does and it is also un selectable in stand-alone. SCUMMVM seem difficult to get working too, so having a base of free included. And this option should already be present in the 2.0.0 release. I see you are talking about the built-in scumm menu. Ah well, while i'm at it and the thread title perfectly fits i might as well add another problem of 1.6.0 Before submitting a bug report, please search to ensure the bug is not already known, and try the latest daily build since the bug may already have been fixed. I want to play my games in original or double size in full screen modus. This should work for both SDL and OpenGL graphics mode (and it does for me).
